Well, finals are almost over. I have to finish writing my "reflection" essay, and then I am officially done with school for a month! YAY!!!!!!!! lol As for the blog, I'm hoping to keep this up, but it depends on if I remember to get on here more lol. I hope everyone has a great holiday and good luck on the rest of your finals!!!

Ok, I know I'm not the only person who has a myspace, so has everyone else been noticing that there are a lot of diet adds on there now? There used to adds for movies and all sorts of other stuff, now it's all diet adds. "I went from this....to this in just 4 days!! No diet! No exercise! Click here to read my story!" Grrr!!! >.< Why are people doing that? Its so annoying that I have to look at pictures of that every time I log in. Anyways, random rant, I'm over it now lol. How is everyone's day going? I'm still flu-ish and achy, but slowly getting better. :)

Homework getting done over Thanksgiving? Yea right Alicia! lol. I ended up getting the flu, so nothing was accomplished but me trying to go to work and then being sent home to hopefully avoid everyone else getting sick. So instead of homework getting done, I was asleep in bed the entire weekend and I still feel exhausted and I have a ton of work to do. However, in a random hour break from feeling like I was going to throw up, I managed to get some online shopping done, so I did get a little bit of holiday/bachelorette party shopping done. My sister is getting married January 3rd, effectively ruining my winter break with all of the last minute wedding plans lol. On the up side, I frequent a site that some of you may know. Okay people, did u all do your "homework?" I forgot I even had anything other than my 312 paper!! Pathetic. So here I am NOW, trying to "catch up" in all of my other classes!! Story of my life, I tell ya (and I have the AUDACITY to tell my son he needs to be more responsible with his school work! What a hypocrite!)!!! =) Hope you all had a nice holiday!!

Final paper

I like to write about what's "personal" to me/in my life; this always makes the assignments MUCH more interesting and is an easy way to apply what you've learned throughout the quarter (in regards to this class) to everyday life. For example, because politics are interesting to me, I enjoyed reading, writing, and researching the subject. I also like taking my everyday life and using it as an example of a public sphere... (I enjoy hanging w/ friends @ the bar, gathering @ my son's sporting events, etc..) I'm sure you all get what I'm trying to say, right?
